Crown Business Network is a private, invitation-based network. We approach and select businesses ourselves, carry out checks before we approve them, and give each approved business the only place for its industry in its county.
How the network works

Members are selected
A business cannot add itself. We invite businesses directly, or a business applies and we review it. Approval is at our discretion.

Checked before approval
We verify company details against Companies House, review what we are given, and form our own judgement about whether a business belongs here.

One place per county
While a membership is active, no other business holds the same industry in the same county. Members may hold a place in more than one county.

Every industry qualifies
Builders and roofers, but equally accountants, nail salons and restaurants. The network is open to any kind of business we are willing to put our name beside.
Membership
Membership runs on a subscription, and there may be a one-off joining fee. The fees that apply are the ones set out to a business at the point it joins. While a paid membership is active, a member business has:
- The exclusive listing for its industry in its county, and a portal to manage that listing and the enquiries it receives.
- Access to Crown networking events, arranged from time to time.
- Inclusion in Crown leaflet and print campaigns, arranged at our discretion.
Membership is not payment for work and not payment for leads. We do not charge per enquiry and we take no share of any job. Being listed, attending an event or appearing in a campaign is not a promise of enquiries, customers or revenue, and we do not forecast what a membership will be worth to any business.
If you are looking for a business
When a county goes live you will be able to search it by industry and find the one member business holding that place, with its profile, photographs and a way to get in touch.
Please be clear about what our checks are and are not. We check a business at the point we approve it. We do not inspect, supervise or stand behind anyone's work, and we do not re-check members on a cycle. Any contract for work is between you and the business, not with Crown, so please carry out your own due diligence before engaging anyone — particularly for building, electrical, gas, roofing or heating work.
